There are several mods on the Nexus for XII, including gameplay mods and costume mods. I'm very biased, as I'm part of the FFXII PC modding community. Stealing has been made less frustrating and many other abilities have been tweaked and rebalanced. PC Alternate Fantasy is fun and adds Beatrix as a party member, if that's something you'd like. The creator of New Threat is also making a VIII mod as well, so I'm eager to see that finished. Much like New Threat, there are also some great additional fights. It does a lot of interesting things such as removing the 9 spell per Draw limit, makes magic more useful and re-balances many other things. Similarly to Brave New World, it makes the game feel fresh again, with each character having innate abilities now and several new, fun fights. Every character feels unique and balanced and after playing Vanilla VI multiple times, it's a refreshing experience and makes the game feel new again. It also touches on Final Fantasy 2 a bit, but not to the extent that it does FF1. It's a very interesting mod that rebalances things and adds interesting new jobs, among other things.
